i’m not proud of it, but knowing that the royal lines of egypt practiced incest with certain regularity made me contemplate an scenery where sadie and carter end the trilogy together instead of with any love interest. I don’t ship them in the books, because well, they are obviously a pair of well written, mostly okay-adjusted siblings, and I also was a fan of their pairings with Anubis(+walt later on) and Zia (+ like 12-14 at the time and still innocent ;_;) but just the possibility… Gesh, that fanfic would be very interesting to explore >-> Like how would it change the story? Maybe there is some magical element to their relationship? How would the other characters react? How would change their interactions with the others? Somehow I don’t think the gods would mind that much… Would just need a bit of tweaking and to make the story a bit more dark but not hopeless or grim, and I think it would be viable… The mythological vibes of Sadie and Carter would increase I think xd

well this was it. i’m happy to have exorcised this idea at last xD if someone wants to contribute or write something based on this, go on. i’d like to read your thoughts. (and really kc fandom is so dead ;_; this was the only one of riordan books that made write fanfic. horrible written oneshots of jonsu and people being amazing in the nome of brooklyn but yeah.)
