The only thing I know of FMA 2003 is that it is the darker and incestier version; now, I look at that thought and am vaguely bothered, bc I know from other fans y fics that there’s way more nuance in there but just. 

I watched Brotherhood; I like the ending there, the happy ending where my main charas don’t end in our Earth, without alchemy or way to use that knowledge (ed giving up his gate was genius), separated from those they love. (the ending is also one of those things I know of) Bc I’ve always hated with a passion stories where the protags had to stay in the normal-our world. So. 

My knowledge from FMA 2003 is, still, that is the origin of elricest, darker gritty perspectives on war, and that the homunculi were wild (cloth being the mother wtf).  I’m happy in my puddle of good animation, soft endings and weird notions of an anime which started running when I was 3.
