Crazy crossover
25 January 2020 13:27 CRAZY IDEA!! Ok, so iwas listening to some anime op and stuff, and then this song I hadn’t heard in ages coms in my playlist; Tokyo Ravens first op. And then all these memories come to my head, and wow. I was pretty obsessed with that series like five or so years ago. I think I made another friend fall down that rabbit hole too?? and i was thinking about how much I fucking loved like the last five to ten chapters (the first were entertaining, but i know now that currently i wouldn’t leap with so much enthusiasm to this kind of series) and SPOILER FOR TK RAVENS IF YOU MIND DONT FUCKING READ YOU DUMMY after the start the protgs actually starts taking himself seriously and studying and his relationship with his cousin Natsume was ultra mega super cute and when it is discovered he is actually the reincarnation of this dude of his clan that at the start of the 20th century made experiments and stuff and dabbled with dark onmyoji and ritual and seals and at the end died/was killed doing a forbidden ritual to bring people back to life… and that his parents knew it and all of his family used Natsume to cover this up, because they didn’t want him killed; and his two shikigami-familiars waited all this time for him loyally omg, they became spirits. and so when all of this is discovered and they try to kill him as Harutora, Natsume dies and he goes fuck it all, I’m doing the forbidden ritual again!! And it works, and she lives again (she also has part the soul of a dragon now how badass is that) and he has to go because her reputation and him being murdered you know… And it gave me such Wei Wuxian vibes I don’t know why, the stories don’t have anything to do, the personality of the characters are like very different but wow. I just thought it would be nice to do a crossover even though it would be very difficult to pull it off. There is something compatible and also not about these stories…. It would be nice ;_; But TK Raven fandom is dead and i think the novels were never fully translated to english or something and gosh this is suffering. but goddness for being such a shonen, tokyo raven had a lot of potential at the end and it reminds me of why i like japan over the top onmyoji stories…. (I mean in TKR world everybody knows magic exists because i think of harutora past incarnation fucking up his ritual and everybody getting a lightshow impossible to hide. like i don’t know if i rememder correctly.)
i want my crossover damn it all of wwx and lwj being immortals that live up to the modern age of tkravens and the harutora finds them or they find him and wwx and him talk about magic and stuff and we can all gush about the differences between china and japan magic and how the cultivation art was like very muddled or lost so almost nobody can be an immortal and cute relationship stuff ;_;
